VERMONT STYLE MAPLE BACON SALAD DRESSING

8 Slices Bacon
2/3 Cup chopped Bermuda onions
1 clove garlic, crushed
½ Cup Red wine Vinegar
½ Cup PURE MAPLE SYRUP
¼ TSP Salt
1 Cup Mayonnaise
2 TBSP minced chive
1 TBSP dried chives
Fry bacon on low until done ( not crips). Cut into bits, drain off fat. Blend all above in food processor or bowl until well blended. Serve immediately at room temperature or refrigerate if requiring storage.
